Treasure Map to Timber Ridge TRial @Whiskey Gulch

The gates to Whiskey Gulch DO NOT open until Friday Sept 27th at 8:00am (no admittance before this time)

From  Whitehall, head west out of town on old Hwy MT#2 about 12 or 13 miles.

From Butte, exit I-90 (exit 288) take Continental Dr. South to Hwy MT#2, travel southeast about 13 miles over the Continental Divide.

[from the Interstate to  the trials site is approximately 45 minutes coming from either direction]

• 0.0 Turn North on Radar Mountain Road aka Toll Mountain Road. Set odometer to 0.
• 1.4 Turn right on Upper Rader Cr. Road. This is a major USFS access road to a trailhead and will be the most traveled road.
• Travel 3.6 mi. and then turn right on Friend Spring Road.
• Continue 5.0 mi. to the location of the Timber Ridge (@Whiskey Gulch) Trials site.

There  will be several private roads splitting right and left. Stay on the  main road. The road will have markers leading to the Trials site.

There is cell reception at the campsite, porta-potties and a very large parking and camping area.
